Alex Jack
I know that it is possible to be visible and have a positive effect on others without feeling like you’re faking it. Job satisfaction, pride, and happiness don’t have to be unreasonable expectations at work.
You can find joy at work as you succeed by being who you are, not in spite of it.
I know this because I have lived this experience.
I am an introvert. "Speak up. Articulate. Enunciate." is what I'd hear every time I tried to speak.
Headphones and a closed office door were my constant barriers to the noisy outside world.

“Quiet”, “anti-social”, “stuck up”, “aloof”, “distant”...
some of the words frequently used to describe people’s perceptions of me.
It didn't matter that I was none of those things; it was how others perceived me. I believed that by showing up, my excellence at what I did would speak for itself.

I even tried the whole ‘fit in and be accepted’ thing, but I pretty soon found out that the effort required too much energy, and that the rewards were far less rewarding to me, because being “in” literally meant partaking in the activities I disliked the most: crowds, parties, events, talking about nothing.
None of those beliefs worked, and this was not going to be sustainable.
So I figured out a way to navigate this thing called life by just being me, and now I use what I've learned to help people just like you uncover the unique strengths and advantages of introverted leadership.
I'll show you effective strategies to leverage and showcase your skills and ideas as an introverted leader.
